When logged into your cloud desktop click Ctrl+Alt+Del from the VMware navigation bar

You should see a blue screen. Click on Change a Password option

You should see the below screen. First you should enter your old password and then you can create a new password

Your cloud password is synced with your Microsoft 365 account. After password reset Microsoft applications (like Outlook and Teams) will ask you to sign in again. Use your new password when signing in

Create Strong Passwords

A strong password should be:

  • At least 8 characters long (longer is better).
  • A mix of uppercase, lowercase, numbers and symbols
  • Not a common word or name
  • Different from previous passwords
  • Easy for you to remember but hard for others to guess (eg. “6MonkeysRLooking^”)

Secure Your Passwords

  • Don’t share your passwords with anyone
  • Never send passwords via email or unsecured messages
  • Use a unique password for each site to prevent credential stuffing attacks
  • Consider using a password manager to store and encrypt passwords
  • Write passwords down only if stored securely, not on sticky notes near your device
  • Change passwords immediately if you suspect a breach
  • Enable multi-factor authentication (MFA) whenever possible for added security
